After finally getting to update my Droid X to a newer version of Android, I was really impressed! There are some cool graphical enhancements, but more importantly, the keyboard interactivity and related suggestions are much improved.
However… I tried listening to some music yesterday and was presented with an error along these lines:
"sorry the player does not support this type of audio file"
Huh??!!? Wha….??!?!
These are mp3s, for crying out loud. If you can’t play them, what other type of audio file can you play?? Do I care?
Thankfully, it was an easy fix for me. All I did was turn off my Droid X, turn it back on again, and all my music files played perfectly well. Phew!
Yes, but at least for me, it continually happens now. Today I was listening to Pandora and then in the middle of switching to a new song, it said we are experiencing technical difficulties (message box kept popping up too). So I said, whatever, went to the built in music player only to find that same message ive seen 3 times this week already.. Then went into my doubletwist media play and got a different message saying the files didn't exist anymore. What the hell?
Hi Jon, Me too. Its incredibly annoying!!
This happens to me several times a week. You'd think it would be easy to fix!
