The Novatel Mifi 2200 I ordered from Verizon Wireless earlier this week arrived on Tuesday. Unfortunately I haven't had much time to try it out, but I was able to charge it up and then activate it.
Like most "activation" procedures, this one was chock full o' bugs and didn't work well at all. I tried a half a dozen times before calling for HELP! The Verizon Wireless rep was kind enough and helped me get it activated.
I read somewhere that it has VPN support, but I can't find that it has OpenVPN support, so I think I'll just use a software client for that.
More thoughts to come! I've got to get ready to head out to the airport!
