I'm not sure if the rumors are true, but the headlines I'm seeing today sure sound confident that Google has confirmed it has a mobile cellphone in the works which it plans to sell directly to consumers.
I'm sure it will run Android, but what networks will it work with? If Google sells it directly to consumers, will it be subsidized through advertising, instead of a usage contract?
This is all very interesting, wouldn't you say? I can't wait to hear more details..
UPDATE: The Google phone is named "Nexus".
I'm not sure how this will pass, but it might be milestone for the cell phone era. Maybe in future Google's going to be the next Microsoft, if there’s any smart investor here, I think their stock will continue to increase.
