Its been about a year since I first setup my Actiontec MI424-WR Verizon branded FIOS router as a bridge and I haven't had a single issue with it.
Thanks again to the tips I found online on how to setup the bridge, and of course special thanks to pfSense for the awesome firewall / router / VPN endpoint I use behind the bridge.
