Galaxy offers all kinds of internet services at very affordable rates. They even have free VOIP service with 60 minutes of free domestic talk time. The only thing you pay is an installation charge, which is fair considering what you get. They'll also port your existing phone number, so you don't have to deal with the hassle of telling everyone you know you're number has changed.
I like to support businesses with this kind of model. Companies like comcast are overcharging and ignoring their customers, it really frustrates me the rates that they charge for their services, and the fact that they're the only cable internet provider for most suburban areas.
I'm constantly looking for ways to scoot their service, but still get comedy central and cartoon network.
Galaxy offers phone service and DSL (DSL just isn't reliable enough to draw me in) If they offered television programming i'd be totally sold. Until I can find a better internet option or someone who has the tv programming I enjoy. I'm stuck with comcast.
