I’m interested in setting up some more advanced DNS records for failover purposes, and it looks like tinydyndns is the right server for this. And libmail-pop3client-perl might be the right client for it.
It might be useful for DHCP clients too, but dhis might be helpful too.
I guess I got thinking about this because I am looking forward to ipv6, and DNS will become an absolute necessity with ipv6.
