Grandstream HandyTone HT-286

My new Grandstream HandyTone HT-286 just arrived from UPS, and I got it setup in under five minutes. For $30, its a bargain.

I actually like it much better than the other HandyTone I had. That one was more complicated and a bit of a pain to setup. This one is a piece of cake, seriously.

I still have to test it out for real, all I did tonight was make an outgoing call to my cell phone to see if it would ring. It did, so outgoing calls work. I'll want to make sure that incoming calls work, and that my called ID shows up correctly.

Oh yeah and I'll also need to change my answering machine message!

FYI: I'm using GalaxyVoice as my VOIP provider.

UPDATE: I further tested the outgoing call capability of the HT-286 - works fine!
