New Phone Mechanics

I just recently renewed my cell phone plan with verizon, and in turn got a deal on a new phone. To be honest I don't even know what the model name is off the top of my head. It just looks like your basic flip phone, its doesn't have a touch screen or anything like that. No built in keyboard unfortunately. It does however, have the movie, music, and texting functions found on most phones these days.

I find it amazing how much phones have changed in just the past 6 or 7 years. I remember my first cell phone. It was a nokia that looked more like a cordless house phone or a military walkie talkie. I remember how amazed I was when I found out that you could download ringtones that belted out atari like beeps and chirps to resemble your favorite songs. Now ringtones are more clear than on cds.

On my first phone you had one game, it was called snake, it was in black and white and it was awesome. Nowadays, these phones are like little game systems themselves. At the very leas they're more sophisticated than the original Gameboy could ever dream of being.

Aside from these features now they have GPS, media storage devices, and song download capabilities built in. Amazing I tell ya.
