Comcast Powerboost versus Verizon FIOS

Comcast is turning into one of those companies that is all marketing, little product. Their new value proposition is the "Powerboost", which means little to me, as I value upstream speed.

Don't get me wrong, I am Comcast subscriber, and a happy one. But I'm also Verizon FIOS customer, and frankly in my opinion, the new FIOS products blow the Comcast products away.

I have the second fastest Comcast business product, which is approximately 30% more expensive than the Verizon FIOS product I have - the second fastest business product. While its 30% more expensive, its also only about 5% as fast (upstream - 768k versus 20MBit).

Comcast can make as many analogies as they want to try and claim their service is fast. It means nothing to me, and in fact makes me think that they are trying to make up for something. Maybe the fact that they are slower?
