Verizon Online Broadband Essentials & Extras

I signed up for high speed internet on Mon Oct 20, 2008 and added the Security and Backup Bundle/5GB.

The connection to the high speed internet was completed by a verizon technician on Sunday, Octrober 26.

I do not want the Security and Backup Bundle/5GB. Cancel my request for this add on. I do not want this and do not want to be charged for this Broadband Essentials & Extras service.

Please acknowledge this cancellation.

I purchased th Verizon FIOS bundle which was installed by a very skilled, and coureous Verizon technician on Nov. 19. Now I'm being asked to pay for a security suite that I do not want nor need. Is this a web version of "bait and switch?"

Attempts to contacty Verizon have proven unsuccessful thus far.

Hi Ronald - I think that the security suite is optional. I didn't want it either and was never asked (so far) to pay for it.

have had nothing but problems since last night received notice that I ordered verizon internet security and was paying for it but had not installed they said to install I followed the directions and had nothing but troulbe signing on or off on my AOL I want to delete the installation of verizon sercurity internet and not been able to contact or delete anyone have a number I can call to have this deleted or can give me instruction to do so. Thanks

Hmm, seems people do not read things closely. I am one that likes to read carefully before proceeding. I don't know why people are posting on this site to have their subscriptions to verizon's essentials and extras canceled.

Anyway, back to the topic. Is Verizon automatically adding these services? I got a replacement modem and had to re-activate my account, and I getting a message that I ordered those services and are apart of the software I downloaded, but all I did was agree to their TOS and click next to activate my internet. I saw no agreement to order these services. I am not pleased with Verizon as a company. Resorting to dirty tricks spells their doom.

I do not want the "starz" package or the "security bundle" i do not want these and do not want to be chared for this broadband essentials and extra service. Please cancel these items.

It appeared that some of the people writing here to cancel their orders didn't read their orders in the first place - you've shown that not to be true.

Please cancel Broadband off my account.

For some reason I'm getting a bill when charges are on my online charges already being taken out.

I want to continue the way it has been with the online charges and credit my paper billing and cancel phone service and keep my plain internet service I had before I got the phone.

i didnt know i had to download verizon security i received on march 4, 2011. i thought that u did this automatically. until a couple weeks ago when i see the warning that i had no virus protection! i tried to down load it from mckafee but they wanted $44.00. went into one site and tried to download it and went through the whole thing and it said no i already have it.... so i call a verizon rep and he told me i should have in my email, i said i dont, so i gave him my email add.and he said he would send it again, but he sent me the one for the stars pkg which i already have,,duh!! so finally after a day of trying to find it, i went into messages in verizon email which i have never gone into and it was in there so i tried to download it but it wouldnt let me. said if i have mckaffee which i dont. i have to delete it. only thing from mckaffee is the one from verizon security i was trying to download... so decide to see if i could uninstall the verizon security thing and couldnt delete it...it has the icon but apparently not there, or something,, so i got into this site and it tells me it was cancelled because i didnt download it. so anyway, i want it cancelled ... but not happy i have been charged for it,,,. i have always had trouble with mckaffee do not like it,,, other than this issue i am a satisfied customer, so far
