I'm still trying to pay Comcast, but they don't seem to want my payment.
Get this - I informed my business account representative that my account has been deactivated. He told me to call business support. I called business support, they directed me to an online chat, where I've been sitting for 10 minutes and am still number 27 in the queue.
No thanks! I just emailed my account representative:
Thanks Donald, I called Business Support to get my account reactivated by they sent me to an online chat. I don't have time for that so you'll have to send me bills again the old fashioned way.
As I said, I'm just trying to update my credit card information. If its this difficult, they can send me paper bills and I'll send them a check. That will be easier.
I just got another email from Comcast offering help to make changes to my account, but I've given up. I responded with this:
I'm sorry but I've already spent a significant amount of time trying to work with Comcast to get my account information updated, including attempting to re-create my accounts which I had previously invested the time to setup. Please direct your billing department to resume sending out paper bills to both my accounts.
This email conversation I'm having with Comcast is getting long...
I just tried to call you but you were on the line, and I'm not sure why you aren't able to call me - it might be because your caller ID is "anonymous" - I think Donald had that problem before. Anyway, I need to change to the Lite service in Quincy. What other information do you need from me? I realize I'll need to release the static IP's I've had. The issue with my billing is that I had to cancel the credit card number which is used for auto-pay because of fraudulent charges. Therefore, when Comcast tries to charge it, the charges will be denied. As I said, I've spent a significant amount of time trying to update my account, and still I'm unable to either cancel auto-pay or update it.
To explain my comment about the "anonymous" caller id, I block callers who don't have a caller id. Like spam, I dread receiving telemarketing calls. Blocking anonymous callers is similar to a DNS block list, and I even have my VOIP provider block additional number which I find harassing, like the NSBA.
