Seeing how my American Express Credit Card number was compromised, I'm busy updating various automatic payment billing services. I updated my Verizon Wireless service, my TrustFax service, and now I'm trying to update my Comcast account.
Seems my Comcast account has been deactivated. I remember getting an email from them about account inactivity - yup, here it is:
As a result of these recent enhancements, if a Comcast.com account is inactive for 180 days, it is removed from our system.
They call that an enhancement? So the real kicker is that I don't get paper bills, so I don't have my account number, and I need my account number to create a new account. It's Comcastic!!! :-(
After five minutes on the phone with Comcast, I got my account number. Now the Comcast website won't work:
