The New York Times is reporting that the FCC is ending its policy of allowing cable companies exclusive deals for apartment buildings. That is such a good thing in my humble opinion, and should have been done a long time ago.
While I think its a good step, I also think its a step towards handing over the rest of cable monopolies, seeing how most cable franchises were won community by community. We'll see how Comcast and Cablevision feel about this.
