At some point I have to automate this process, but in the meantime, here's what I did:
- Added extension number to Astlinux configuration, in both the extensions.conf and sip.conf files
- Logged into the phone's web insterface and changed the NTP server, the SIP server, and the line information. Only one at the moment, but the 501 has multiple line support.
One mistake I made, I set the extension to IAX2/1116 instead of SIP/1116. Changed it and the phone is now accepting calls. :-)
The most annoying this about provisioning the phones this way is how long it takes the web server to reboot. Must be at least 5 minutes. :-(
