My cell phone battery kept loosing its charge, instead of buying a costly new battery, I decided to switch back to my old phone. So, I needed to have my phone book transfered from the newer phone to the old one. (At verizon they will do it free for their VIP status customers, whoppie aren't we all?) After clearly explaining this to the technitian, I handed over my phone and let them get to it. After getting it back I went to make a call and realized they transfered the old phone numbers to the newer phone, opposite than my request. Therefore it wiped out the numbers I had accumulated over the last year. They pretty unapologetically said there was nothing that could be done about it. I told my brother and he said in the future I should store everything on my computer (a Mac) and be able to transfer my phone book myself. Apparently this is only compatable with certain phones (not my LG), and will affect my next choice in phones. But otherwise here are some useful links that would help in the future, on storing info on the computer and some more resonably price phone accessories.
