PC World has a good article on how the Apple iPhone has received FCC approval. The most interesting part for me to read was about how the FCC process takes a long time, and how that could have been the reason for Apple to announce the product so soon before it would become available.
The iPhone will first become available exclusively from AT&T Wireless.
