Comcast finally upgraded my Workplace service last week with additional IPs. Very nice, now I can serve more SSL pages when necessary. While they were at it, they turned the firewall back on, which killed my VPN. Luckily their support is actually on the ball and they were able to remotely turn it off, after which my VPN, which has its own firewall, was restored.
Another problem I noted today was that the upgrade also turned the SMC router's DHCP server back on, causing the usual network access problems. I logged into the admin panel, shut it off, and was back to normal.
