The Register-Mail.com is reporting that Comcast is purchasing part of Insight Communications of Illinois. This could be a good deal for Insight with the future of the cable marketplace uncertain due to competition from the likes of Netflix, Apple TV, and IPTV in general, not to mention Verizon FIOS.
