Someone bought me a Nokia n770 last year for my birthday and I absolutely love the device. I use it all the tie when I'm at the gym where I connect to Verizon's wireless network via my Motorola e815 over bluetooth. Its really great.
Now that the n800 is out I'm reviewing my experience with the Nokia 770 and checking out the specs on the new one.
First thing that amazes me is that you still can't chage via usb, however I just did a quick search and found a way around that:

This article comparing the differences between the 770 versus the n800 reveals a couple of things very impressive to me: more base memory, improved processor and clock speed, and two (2) full-size SD card slots. Those changes alone are really awesome. It also has a VGA resolution web-cam, but that doesn't thrill me as I've got a good camera on my Motorola e815 I mentioned earlier and a Canon SD600 which takes pretty darn good photos.
